Human Mind and Lifestyle

Man is the major animal division on earth and Only man has the most developed brain in the animal kingdom. In a world of diverse and unique human beings, the human mind is not an organ but is based on the activity of the human brain. A person's mind develops from birth. During childhood, stimuli from the external environment directly affect the development of the brain and mind.

In particular, the functioning of the human mind is manifested through mental phenomena such as attitudes, behavior patterns, cognition, empathy, and so on. However, thought formation is influenced by human motives, beliefs, imaginations, logical conclusions, and intuition. Therefore, Doesn't the human mind have a direct effect on people's behavior and attitudes in everyday life?

Many thoughts flow into the human mind when making decisions in everyday life. Here they respond to decisions according to their way of thinking. Do people have the same pattern of thinking when decision-making? No, people behave and respond differently in different situations. The reason is that human beings have a pattern of thinking that is unique to each other. Some think intelligently and act accordingly. But aren't most people enslaved to their emotions and making quick wrong decisions? many reasons influence the human mind behind these situations. childhood living conditions, social experiences, nature of attitudes, and the living environment are highly influenced by the human mind. The human mind is like an invisible hand that controls man. But what is important is that man tries to control his mind without allowing the mind to control man.

Today Many factors influence the wrong decision-making pattern. it adversely affects the lifestyle, and that causes to occur negative consequences. such as addictions, wrong habits, cognitive errors, etc., which impair mental and physical health. in addition to this dysfunctional thinking or overthinking would cause depression and anxiety, after that, it will negatively impact human wellbeing. There is an unbreakable bond between the human mind and body. That is, physical health depends on mental health.

Hatred, anger, greed, selfishness, lying, cunning, these all factors defile the human mind and gradually, weaken the power and ability of thought. Furthermore, if there is low self-confidence, it negatively impacts the human mind. What happens then is that instead of making intelligent decisions, the mind becomes too enslaved and makes decisions. If the mind can be always kept stable without being lost in the stimuli of the external environment, it will have a positive effect on one's own life as well as the lives of others.

According to the findings of the study, unpleasant and dysfunctional automatic thoughts play a significant effect on how people respond to stress and may even intensify bad sensations. A person's thinking pattern is a habit that develops from early childhood; these patterns are extremely stable and difficult to change. Some people can change on their own, while others may need professional help. This is most common when people have developed dysfunctional and negative core beliefs, not only bad thinking patterns. Aside from the impact of thoughts and feelings, a variety of other factors can influence overall health and well-being, including past experiences, previous diseases, and other external influences, as well as internal elements like motivation, personality structure, and social skills. It's difficult to say that thoughts cause psychosomatic diseases, yet they can exacerbate or alleviate the symptoms. People can be taught to recognize the relationship between their mental and bodily feelings, which can help them manage a variety of stressors. Then it helps to improve the quality of people’s lifestyle.
